The Dreamcoat Initiative is an organization looking to build a welcoming community for Puget Sound Jews of all backgrounds. We strive to give a voice to Jews of Color and to connect members to resources within our community.

But who is a Jew of Color?

Jews of color is a self-identification of Jews from Black, Indigenous/First Nation, Asian/Pacific Islander, Latino/Hispanic, or Sephardic/Mizrahi backgrounds.

Is Dreamcoat Initiative only for Jews of Color/Diverse Jews?

NO! While Dreamcoat's main focus is on highlighting and celebrating Jews of Color or diverse backgrounds, we are open to anyone looking to learn and experience Jewish practices outside of their own traditions.
